30 Days - 1 Goal - Healthy Lifestyle

This is the first of what hope to be many goal-oriented posts. The idea is that every day I post my progress on a specific goal that I’m trying to achieve. Why? well - It’s more interesting this way and I’d like to create a bit of excitement around certain goals that have the ability to change my life and the way I live if they are achieved and can be maintained. If a goal is something more life-long or runs bit more deep than simply achieving some physical feat such as running a marathon then I will try my best to update the progress as the months & years go on. If necessary, I will revisit goals to re-achieve with a better approach!
Goal #1 - Healthy Lifestyle
The plan
Eat healthy & work out daily for 30 days while documenting my physical and mental changes.
The Approach
I hate being in the kitchen spending insane amounts of time preparing food that only takes me a few minutes to eat. Therefore,
- I will designate a day (typically a Sunday or Monday) where I prepare all my meals for the week and make a trip the grocery store if needed.
- I will eat when my stomach wakes up in the morning (typically an hour after I wake up) and then every 3 hours after that I will eat again. Also, I will eat before and after every workout.
- I will run to and from the gym (mile there and back) where I will workout different muscle groups every day. I will do this at least 4 times a week.
- I will swim a mile at least twice a week.
- I will run go on a 10 mile+ run at least twice a week.
- I will document my progress every day for 30 days. I will post what I eat, what I did for a work out, and my general mood.
The Reward
A new suit jacket if i have the money. If not, then It will wait until I have extra spending cash.
